Tonia Gardner, an Unlocking Autism State Representative from Missouri, is another parent who single handedly is making a difference. Puzzles were brought to the rally by many participants as a symbol of the many components and complexity of autism. Tonia had a terrific idea. She pasted photos of individuals with autism on the front of each box. The photos included information about the person depicted. This earned her the nickname "puzzle chick" from the other families in Missouri.
