The
Power of One Conference was organized and sponsored by Unlocking
Autism. The Organization's accomplishments to date are quite impressive
including:
* A permanent collection of 3,500 photographs of autistic individuals
* Testimony, April 6, 2000, before the Congressional Committee
on Government Reform
* Fundraising efforts that have contributed $83,000 to autism
research and projects
* Interviews on CNN, NBC, ABC and C-SPAN, to raise awareness
* Over 80 articles in national newspapers and print media
